The Data Vortex Team is delighted to announce that Keith Lackey, CPA has accepted Coke Reed’s invitation to become the new Director of Finance for Interactic Holdings, LLC/Data Vortex Technologies. Our current Data Vortex Director of Finance, Charles Devany, CPA is unfortunately leaving us to take care of familiar matters.
Keith received his BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin in 1983 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1985. He and his wife, Bonnie, live near Lake Austin as both enjoy competitive sailing. They have two children, Brian, 25, who lives and works in New York and Sarah, 21, who will graduate from The University of Texas this spring.
Keith’s background is largely in consulting for technology start-ups with a focus on responsible financial planning and implementation. He has previously consulted with VCFO, Somino Solutions, and 9Gauge Partners and has spent his career in Austin, Salt Lake City, and the Silicon Valley. Keith is dedicated to playing a leadership role in delivering a strong return for the investor and proactively guiding an organization to profitability with an eye on successful liquidating events and exit strategies.
Charley and Keith have started the transition, heavily focusing on understanding what funding is needed in the short term to close pending sales and properly move forward with the technical priorities most important to Data Vortex customers. Keith has already engaged with the team to assure that there is a solid financial plan behind the strategic product roadmap.
