“KARMA” and Supercomputing 2013

As with every annual supercomputing conference, the Data Vortex team held a series of events that corresponded with major company advancements. This year’s conference was located at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Given the conference’s proximity to our engineering and manufacturing partner, Plexus Inc., two invitation-only gatherings were hosted at the Plexus Boulder Design Center on the week of SC13 to present our first DV205 system (“KARMA”). The first event was for early prospective customers and the second was held for Interactic Shareholders. Addison Snell, CEO of Intersect360 Research, was the keynote speaker at both and spoke on the potential of the Data Vortex for the High Performance Computing industry. The Plexus engineering team gave guests a detailed explanation of the Data Vortex hardware and demonstrated KARMA’s capabilities. In addition to the KARMA presentations, Chief Software Architect Jay Rockstroh held training sessions in programming the Data Vortex for potential customers and users.
